What are you going to be doing over the school holidays? Marcus Rashford MBE explains why you might want to sign your child up to the Government’s expanded Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF).
South Ribble Borough Council is delivering a programme of holiday activities for children over the summer holidays.
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme is being funded by the Department for Education and administered by Lancashire County Council. It aims to provide healthy food and enriching activities for children aged 4 to 16 who are eligible for free school meals.
They are currently developing a timetable of bookable sessions; there will be a variety of activities on offer at venues across the borough. We are pleased to annouce that they wil be using Northbrook Primary Academy as a venue for the HAF programme from Monday 2nd August - Thursday 5th of August. We have recently written to families to invite their children onto the programme. The consent forms need to be returned to school by Friday 9th July.
